4. REQUIRED PRE-FUELING DOUBLE-CHECK

Fueling procedures reviewed before starting the transfer. Receiving tank(s) confirmed and available capacity verified. VALVE LINEUP DOUBLE-CHECKED: required valves OPEN; required valves CLOSED are CLOSED. Tank vents / overflow points are clear and will be monitored. Crew communication established and continuous fueling watch assigned. Spill-response materials ready and fueling area clear of ignition hazards.

5. AFTER FUELING - SECURE & VERIFY

Final PORT and STBD gauge readings, total gallons onboard, and fuel-ticket gallons recorded above. Fuel hose / fill connections disconnected and secured; fuel valves returned to required normal position. Fueling area checked for leaks or spills; any issue immediately reported. Required Fueling Log submitted to the permanent boat archive; optional ticket picture attached if available.
